Cheshire models opened its doors in 1988. Formally an
insurance brokers the shop was gutted and "remodelled" to become
a modellers Aladdin's cave. Having worked in the toy/model trade for 11
years before and seeing a gap in the market for a true model shop.
The aim was to fill that
gap with all the goodies modellers like, and need after their initial
purchase.

So, the idea was born all I had to do was to put it into
action, could a woman be a model shop owner? I hope you will visit and
see.
With a lot of help and
support from very good friends to who I will be forever grateful I opened
on September 1988.
